Copenhagen Business School (CBS) søger en strategisk og visionær dekan, der vil lede universitetets arbejde med forskning, innovation og samfundspåvirkning. Som dekan bliver du en del af CBS’ øverste ledelse og får en central rolle i at realisere universitetets ambition om at være en internationalt førende business school med stærk forankring i samfundet.
Du får det overordnede ansvar for at styrke CBS’ forskningsprofil, fremme ekstern forskningsfinansiering og sikre, at viden omsættes til konkret værdi for samfundet. Du vil lede udviklingen af forskningsstrategier, understøtte forskningsmiljøerne og sikre høj kvalitet i ph.d.-uddannelsen. Samtidig bliver du en nøgleperson i at fremme innovation og iværksætteri – bl.a. gennem Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship og samarbejder med erhvervsliv, myndigheder og civilsamfund.
CBS søger en internationalt anerkendt forsker med erfaring i strategisk ledelse, forskningsfinansiering og samarbejde på tværs af sektorer. Du skal kunne skabe følgeskab, tænke på tværs og omsætte idéer til handling. Du har stærke relationelle og kommunikative evner og kan navigere i en kompleks organisation med mange interne og eksterne interessenter.
CBS’ strategi og ledelseskodeks danner rammen for dit virke og understøtter en kultur præget af tillid, samarbejde og ansvarlighed. Du refererer til rektor og indgår i tæt samarbejde med de øvrige direktionsmedlemmer og institutlederne.

Dean of Research, Innovation and Societal Impact
Do you want to lead research, innovation, and societal impact at one of Europe’s leading business schools?
Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is looking for a strategic and visionary Dean to head the university’s work in research, innovation, and societal impact. As Dean, you will be part of CBS’s Senior Management Team and play a central role in realizing the university’s ambition to be an internationally leading business school with strong roots in society.
You will hold overall responsibility for strengthening CBS’s research profile, advancing external research funding, and ensuring that knowledge is translated into tangible value for society. You will lead the development of research strategies, support the research environment, and ensure the high quality of the PhD programme. At the same time, you will be a key figure in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship—through, among other initiatives, the Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship and collaborations with business, government, and civil society.
CBS is looking for an internationally recognized researcher with experience in strategic leadership, research funding, and cross-sector collaboration. You must be able to inspire followership, think across boundaries, and turn ideas into action. You will bring strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to navigate a complex organization with many internal and external stakeholders.
CBS’s strategy and leadership code form the framework for your work and support a culture of trust, collaboration, and responsibility. You will report to the President and work in close cooperation with the other members of the Senior Management Team and the Heads of Department.
